Phytonutrient packed, delicious smoothie that’s an anti-inflammatory treat! Plant-based, vegan, gluten free, dairy free, and Paleo friendly recipe.
1 cup homemade cashew milk or coconut milk
1 banana
1 medjool date, pitted & sliced (for easier blending)
1 tbsp ground flaxseed
1 tbsp creamy almond butter
1 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp cinnamon powder
1/4 tsp ginger powder or grated ginger root
4–5 cubes of ice
Optional: 1 handful spinach
Add all items into the blender. If you are using a pre-frozen banana that was cut into chunks, you can reduce the amount of ice to the recipe.
